Heather joined Buoy in 2022 as a project manager. With experience in cross-functional team management and complex workflows, she specializes in supervising the budgets and contractors for projects in education, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors.

Before transitioning into project management, Heather spent 13 years as a special education and English teacher in K-12 public and charter classrooms in New York City and New Jersey, experience that now informs her thoughtful and empathetic approach to education sector work. 

She earned a master's degree in secondary education from the George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Delaware.

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Heather enjoys libraries, state parks, and other quiet places.
