Andrea joined Buoy as a graphic designer in 2021. She is also the owner of a design studio that partners with nonprofit organizations and small businesses to create memorable, color-forward, and impactful branding.

With over 15 years of experience in branding and design, Andrea has worked with clients such as the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), KIPP NYC, CityBridge Education, Results for America, Teach 313, and the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). She also owns a stationery design company specializing in tongue-in-cheek greeting cards, notebooks, planners, and tote bags. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Wayne State University.

A native Detroiter, Andrea currently lives in Washington, DC, and enjoys finding the perfect GIF for every text message.
